Welcome to Little Eye Shop, the best place for all of your children’s eye care needs!
As parents, nothing comes before the health of our children. How often have you paced and thought about going to the hospital when your baby had a fever? Or stayed up with them in their bed when they weren’t feeling well?
Their vision is no different.
Check your child's eyes regularly, even if they seem healthy. It will identify potential problems early on and ensure that your child's vision develops properly.
Early detection is the key to correcting vision issues like myopia (near-sightedness), strabismus (eye turn), amblyopia (lazy eye), and binocular vision (3-D).

So what are some of these issues you mentioned?
Strabismus
Strabismus, also known as crossed eyes, is a condition in which the eyes are not aligned properly. One eye turns inward or outward while the other eye looks straight ahead.
Our team of experienced and certified optometrists will conduct a comprehensive eye exam to check for signs of strabismus. If we detect any issues, we will work with you to create the best treatment plan for your child.
If left undetected and untreated, strabismus can lead to amblyopia, or lazy eye, a condition in which the brain begins to favour one eye over the other. This can cause serious long-term problems with vision.
Amblyopia
Amblyopia, or lazy eye, is a condition in which the vision in one or both eyes does not develop properly. This can cause reduced vision in the affected eye(s). Infants and children with amblyopia won’t necessarily be aware that they have reduced vision because they have never known anything different.
If left untreated, amblyopia can lead to permanently impaired vision. Infants and children with amblyopia typically need glasses or patching of the good eye to improve vision in the weaker eye.
If you think your child may have amblyopia, please bring them to Little Eye Shop for an evaluation.
Regardless of whether or not your child has an eye problem, don’t wait.
